Assolutamente unico! Sono stato ospite della gentile Famiglia di Mezzacosta a Marzo. L'edificio, un palazzetto toscano del 1700 arroccato su di un colle tra i boschi toscani è dotato di un fascino speciale che solo la storia sa dare. L'atmosfera è pacata e serena, si gode la calma e la bellezza della natura. Inoltre i Signori Mezzacosta sono gentilissimi e le colazioni sono estremamente abbondanti. Lo consiglio vivamente!

A relaxing break. We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Being greeted by lavendar and pine scented air was a delight. The area is beautiful and our hosts were very attentive without being instrusive. You definitely need a car to make the most of the location. We would highly recommend Mezzacosta and hope to return there one day.

Miejsce z przemiłą atmosferą. Doskonały apartament w klasycznej willi toskańskiej. Warunki "domowe" nie tylko za sprawą wystroju i wyposażenia (świetnego!! było naprawdę wszystko) ale przede wszystkim gospodarzy. Czuliśmy się tam oczekiwanymi gośćmi a nie klientami... Franco służył pomocą i dobrymi radami gdzie i w jaki sposób pojechać, podpowiadał miejsca z klimatem a nie "zestaw obowiązkowy z przewodnika". Cisza, spokój, świetne domowe wino z warzywniaka w niedalekiej miejscowości (dzięki Franco ;)) to wszystko sprawiło, że pobyt ten długo pozostanie w naszej pamięci. Jeżeli ktoś chce zwiedzić okolicę to samochód jest konieczny poza tym nic, jeżeli czegoś nie weźmiecie to na pewno będzie w apartamencie. Dorota Wojtek Staś.

Tutaj odpoczniesz naprawdę. Romantyczny apartament w uroczej toskańskiej willi z polnego kamienia. Bezpośredni dostęp do zacisznego ogrodu gdzie spędzaliśmy wieczory przy lampce wina i dźwięku cykad. Pełne uroku miejsce i jednocześnie bardzo czyste z dobrze wyposażoną kuchnią i łazienką oraz sypialnia z dużym łóżkiem. Właściciele niezwykle przyjaźni oferujący pomoc i cenne wskazówki na temat regionu. Urzekł nas talerz ze świeżymi owocami, który czekał na nas po powrocie z wycieczek. Gorąco polecamy. Great location - the owners couldn't have been more helpful. Great location for us - between Arezzo (15 mins) and Anghiari (20 mins). We stayed in one of two self-catering apartments and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. Marianne's directions were perfect - no trouble finding the apartment - and she and her mother met us and showed us around the well appointed apartment. Franco (Marianne's father) was also very helpful, leaving us with fresh garden produce to make a meal and letting us know the best places to eat out. It's a quiet spot without feeling isolated - couple of restaurants within 5 mins drive. Car essential but lots of places within easy driving distance for day trips and Anghiari is a beautiful little town to spend time in. All in all a very reasonably priced and well equipt apartment - we will return!! Brigante Suite has a bedroom on ground floor, with ceiling fan, bathroom on mezzanine floor and kitchen/living room on the first floor which.

Tolles Quartier bei sehr netter Familie. Wir verbrachten 3 Tage hier. Schöne, ruhige Lage, sehr nette und freundliche Quartiergeber, excellentes Frühstück, richtig zum gemütlichen Abschalten. In Arezzo ist man in einer Viertelstunde, sehr schön aber auch in der anderen Richtung ist Anghiari mit eigenem Musikfestival. ebenfalls in der Nähe ist Caprese Michelangelo, mit einem Ausflug nach La Verna gut kombinierbar.

Cudowne miejce i wspaniali gospodarze. Spędziliśmy w Suite Belvedere 2 najpiękniejsze tygodnie wakacji. Miejsce wspaniałe do wypoczynku, ale to przeuroczy gospodarze są prawdziwą wartością tego miejsca. Ich ogromna życzliwość i naturalność ujęła nas i towarzyszyła nam przez cały pobyt. Franco-właściciel, zawsze służący pomocą i dobrą radą, wspaniały towarzysz rozmów na każdy temat. Jego żona zawsze dbała, abyśmy mieli na stole świeże warzywa i owoce z domowej uprawy! Chyba nie można wymarzyć sobie troskliwszych gospodarzy. Nasza rodzina czuła się tu jak w domu. Warunki prawdziwie domowe- jest wszystko, co trzeba. Okazało się, że zupełnie niepotrzebnie zabieraliśmy niektóre rzeczy, bo były na miejscu. Bardzo czysto i przytulnie. Wspaniały ogród. Wokół cisza i śpiew ptaków. Wszechobecny zapach lawendy. No i te widoki na toskańskie wzgórza...Samochód konieczny. Zakochaliśmy się w tym miejscu i całej Toskanii. Na pewno tu przyjedziemy ponownie!

Very good place to stay. The room has a nice view and a private jacuzzi. Breakfast is really superb.
It's a very quiet place and they do everything to help you. (Influence of sud-Tirol...). The room is very clean, as is the rest of the house. There is a minibar in the room and the drinks are even for free.
So: very low price for very high quality, not so common in Tuscany.

Peaceful, pine-scented. We spent a week here. On the plus side: excellent quiet, secluded location with views over a pine-clad valley and olive grove; farm house recently converted to a high standard;lovely garden wooded paths to explore; very friendly family; very clean; well equipped kitchen; very comfy firm bed; quiet location, double glazing and window shutters excellent for peaceful sleep.

Just really nice. We enjoyed a stay in the Brigante Suite and were very happy with it. The people of Mezzacosta are very friendly, so this family-run place (with amazing dog!) is the perfect choice to relax in a quiet atmosphere whilst being close to many interesting towns and cities in this part of Tuscany (especially in the vicinity of most of Piero della Francesca's frescoes and paintings). A car is recommended. Best to go in spring or late summer, to be able to enjoy the garden and barbecue. Very nearby is a super bakery (also a take-away pizzeria in the evening) and a small restaurant (Osteria Nonna Lola) worth to check out (we had stew of boar, very pure, and the specialty of the house: pasta with truffe!). Those who cherish soul will enjoy Mezzacosta. It gives us great pleasure to share impressions about our unforgettable seven days trip in Tuscany, with our base at Mezzacosta. We found there the ingredients of what we consider a wonderful holiday: the cosy Brigante apartment with its nicely equiped kitchen, the intimate garden were we spent peaceful mornings and beautiful evenings glazing at the stars among pine trees with strong scent, the warmth and hospitality of our hosts, so caring and eager to satisfy any need we had, the rewarding beauty of the surroundings, the proximity of Anghiari - an enchanting medieval small town which must be visited by foot, street by street, the closeness to Monterchi with its extraordinary Madonna del Parto by Pierro della Francesca, the convenience it provides in reaching several must-see destinations such as Arezzo, Assisi, Perugia, Firenze, Cortona, and the splendid Casentino valley. We did not have enough time to enjoy all of these and we eagerly look forward to returning soon to Mezzacosta. A note about Da Alighiero restaurant in Anghiari: they have very good pastas, we recommend the green ones, we found it to be excellent. The old Osteria La Pergola was also a nice option in the evenings when we returned from the wonderful one-day trips described above. The car is mandatory. Excellent quality/price balance. Gina

6 Happy Days. We had a superb 6 night holiday in the Brigant apartment. It is in a beautiful, quiet setting and the apartment was ideal for us. The facilities were modern and the building has been very tastefully renovated. Very clean rooms and the shower was very good. The owners are great - very friendly and helpful. There are so many great places to visit in the area and although the property is in the countryside it was easy to find. Debbie

Ho soggiornato con mio marito presso questa struttura a febbraio 2009 per un week end dedicato alla visita di Arezzo e Perugia.
Il b&b, sistemato da poco, offre dei deliziosi piccoli appartamenti dotati di cucina molto ben fornita, bagno e camera assolutamente dignitosi. L’arredamento è semplice ma piacevole. Buona la pulizia. I proprietari si sono dimostrati accoglienti e molto disponibili.
La struttura si trova in una suggestiva pineta piuttosto isolata ad Anghiari ma da qui si può raggiungere facilmente il centro del paese come anche Cortona e le Celle oppure Arezzo. Noi abbiamo approfittato dell’occasione per destinare una giornata anche alla visita di Perugia che dista solo 1 ora di strada.
Consiglio questo luogo che associa un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo a chi vuole visitare questa zona soggiornando in un luogo tranquillo poco distante dalle classiche mete turistiche. Silvia

We were welcomed and really looked after by Franco and his family. We were well advised of where to go to get a taste of Italy. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and the food we had was excellent. What a wonderful place for holidays! Beautiful countryside just outside your window, nice, clean and very well equipped apartments with tasteful arrangement. Friendly owners who do their best to accommodate all your wishes. Rich and tasty breakfasts give you a chance to try a variety of Italian cheese and local meat. Silence around (except for bird songs) and fragrance in the air from surrounding vegetation. Complete relaxation! It is an ideal place for those who like to rest in friendly atmosphere, but not only that. The place is a very good starting point if you want to visit the most attractive places and cities of Tuscany. I spent here one of the best holidays in my life!

Tout simplement, nous avons été au petits soins. Rien ne manquait. Le site est tout simplement magnifique, très silencieux. L'hébergement est d'une propreté irréprochable. L'équipement est complet. Un excellent rapport qualité-équipement-accueil-propreté/prix pour ce gîte spacieux pour une famille avec 2 enfants dans un environnement très calme. Petit déjeuner plus que généreux. Accueil attentionné et discret. Gros toutou impressionnant mais gentil. Nous n'avons sans doute pas optimisé l'attrait touristique des environs mais le farniente dans le jardin fait aussi partie des vacances ! Petit bémol de vacanciers exigeants : l'aménagement du jardin reste toutefois à peaufiner pour vraiment en profiter. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

C'est un plan FFFFFFFFFFFFooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmiiiiiiiiiiidable. Proprios gentils attentifs sympas etc.... etc. Nous retenons très fort cette adresse et conseillons à tous ceux qui veulent passer des journées calmes, détendues, voulant découvrir les environnements ou on ne peut se sentir poete, peintre, litteraire et encore. A noter également que "le petit déjeuner " est à souligner car sans faire etat de ce " détail " on mnquerait un des points essentiels. Si tous vos loueurs etaient à cette hauteur je pense que vous seres cités dans tous les guides journaux etc... Grandd merci à ces personnes qui font un délicat travail pour le tourisme Toscan et Italien. Sincerement Respects , on s incline et souhaitons que vous choisissiez avec des gens identiques cela sera parfait pour tout le monde. Gracie 10 000.

Les indications pour l'acces sont précisses et faciles à suivre. Sur place, la calme s'impose dans une ambiance bucolique formidable. L'appartement est agréable et bien amenagé. Se reposer dans le jardin ou se prommener dans la forêt voicine est aussi un plaisir.

Io e mia moglie Flavia siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti di questo posto incantevole. Il B&B è in una casa ristrutturata e ammodernata, rispettando però le linee architettoniche, immersa nel verde, vicina un oliveto, a pochi chilometri da Arezzo, Anghiari, Sansepolcro. La suite è confortevole, il posto è tranquillo esilenzioso, ideale per chi vuole fare una vacanza rilassante ma strategico anche per chi vuole fare una vacanza attiva favcendo sport o lunghe paseggiate o visitando i tanti paesi medioevali della zona (distanza massima 12 km). Le aree etrusche sono un po' più lontane ma facilmente raggiungibili.

Accueil très chaleureux dès notre arrivée, le propriétaire est venu nous récupérer à la gare et a été très disponible tout au long du séjour pour nous faciliter les transports. Chambre magnifique et très spacieuse avec un beau salon/cuisine et un jardin équipé de table chaise et chaises longues. Petits déjeuner très copieux et variés. Gentillesse incroyable du propriétaire qui nous a conseillé les plus beaux endroits à visiter de la région (et même accompagnés à certains !) Bref, outre un excellent rapport qualité/prix, un accueil plus que chaleureux, à recommander sans aucune restriction.

Nous garderons un trés bon souvenir de ce séjour: l'environnement est paisible et pittoresque, proche de tous les sites culturels à ne pas rater en Toscane, et surtout, les propriétaires sont d'une sympathie et d'une amabilité exceptionnelle.
